SAMPLE OF STUDENT WORK
Below is a sample of the projects completed during my M.S. Design Science program at the University of Michigan. I am grateful to the professors at Taubman College and UMich College of Engineering for their knowledge and guidance.

Panots
These architectural tiles which are often seen in Spain have a a rich craft history. We created new forms by CNC routing dense foam as a form for GFRC.
CNC Knitting
Working with novel production technology to produce seamless textiles that were ideated as light-weight architectural installations.

Waterjet Mobius Screens
Produced a room divider using a CNC waterjet and spot welder.

Cubo - Product Design
Cubo was a suitcase design formed from surveying the needs of international students. The design underwent the entire design and production process up through a working prototype.

Emoterial
This is a lightweight design tool to help teams understand their emotional reaction to material choice. It can also be used as a surveying tool for potential customers. Several product images were produced with cutouts that could be held to different materials.
KUKA - Hot Wire Columns
Programming a KUKA robot to carry out multi-axis cuts in Styrofoam to produce new column designs.
